A few years ago I was at my Grandpa’s having a BBQ. He had been reflecting on his life and told me his personal philosophy “Life is People”. Through my own short experience of life, I have come to value how important memories are in our lives when telling our own story.
Photography came naturally to me as I’ve always been creative, right from a child building whole storylines with my Lego, to making short films with my friends to photographing my westie, Daisy. She was a natural, with such a huge personality that brought me immense joy in the time we had together. It was these reflections that led me to my own personal philosophy that “life is people & experiences”.
Through my photography, I harness the elements of the world I see in front of me, from spontaneous scenarios to considered portraits, it is the natural, subtle, human moments that resonate with me most.
Which has always been my goal when creating for myself and those who trust my instinct to achieve their photographic vision.
My photos are a record of the people I’ve met and experiences I’ve had, moments in time I can capture for you too.
